Best vanilla out there. Wish it came with free shipping, but still a good deal without.

After reading all the rave reviews about Nielsen-Massey vanilla, I purchased the 32 oz. for my Thanksgiving pie baking and Christmas cookie baking. I must say I was disappointed, and feel that the vanilla I purchase at Sam's Club is just as good or perhaps better. This didn't add anything extra to any of my baked goods, but didn't hurt them either. I would say it's just another vanilla, but way overpriced. I won't be buying it again.

When you want you baking/cooking to have that beautiful vanilla taste, this is your best choice. I buy the large bottle as a good price break and share with my family. Everyone raves about my holiday baking and this is the secret.

I can see why most cooks recommend this brand of vanilla. It is very potent and seductive with it's aroma. It really adds a lot to the flavor of baking and cooking items. The size is large, but it lasts a long time and is convenient to use.

I tried this olive oil out of curiosity and I really am happy with it. Olio Santo, "the oil of saints" It has a delicious flavor, great for cooking, salads, drizzled on bread,etc. I don't mind paying a little more for great taste and quality. I recommend you give it a try or one of the other olive oils from Stonehouse Olive oil, made right here in the U.S.

I returned other thermometers purchased at Wal-Mart because the temperature was very inaccurate only to find that these are also very innacurate. One if off by almost 2 degrees and the other is off by over 5 degrees. I have given up and will settle with these. I will just have to remember that they are off. They are cute and my kids like to chew on them.

I never write reviews for Amazon but I felt that I should for this terrible product. I can't believe how someone in this day and age can manufacture an inaccurate thermometer! This thing has been off since day 1. It's about 5-7 degrees less than the actual temperature. Save your money and buy a regular thermometer instead. This is a waste of $$ and I finally just threw it out.

After 400 years of thermometer technology, you wouldn't think accuracy would be an issue, but apparently it is. I've caught this thing being more than 6 degrees off, compared to known accurate thermometers. Recommendation: Buy three. If two agree, use that value, if not average the three. Or, buy a better (working) unit.

The only problem I have with it is my labrador grabbing it out of the pool. That's what happened to the yellow ducky.

I'm the type of person who uses caffeine as a drug to stay focused. My friend, who was former military, gave me a pack of these to try. Let me just say that the military money gets results! This was fact acting, small, and cheap. It works out to about $0.25 a cup of coffee- each gum has 100mg caffeine (5 pieces per packet, 24 packs per box). This destroys any other caffeinated products I've ever tried- it beats coffee for price and ease of use. It beats jolt gum cause it has 6x the amount of caffeine jolt does. It beats energy drinks because they are so expensive and loaded with TONS of sugar. These things are extremely portable- just carry in your pocket (they were meant for military!). Great for law enforcement to have in the war bag to stay awake in the field when you are stuck on a call or stakeout. A friend who is in vet school loves these cause they have to stay alert and study so much. To be honest, you don't buy stuff like this for taste. The first minute of these things you just taste the sugar and flavoring, but after that the bitter taste of the caffeine starts to be come apparent. The taste comes out slowly at first, and never completely overpowering, but anyone chewing this just to enjoy gum, and not as a tool to stay awake, would never chose this gum over any other gum in the world for flavor. That being said, the taste isn't terrible. I've had all 5 flavors. The Cinnamon is the worst, and unless you are a fan of big red or gum like that I would avoid it (I don't like Cinnamon flavor). IMO, the Spearmint flavor tastes the best at first (only slightly better than Arctic Mint), but then the caffeine is more noticeable with Spearmint in the end than with Arctic Mint flavor. Overall, if you are going for the best overall flavor experience I chose Arctic Mint. I cannot recommend these enough.

They issued us Stay Alert gum when I was serving in Iraq in 2005 and it quickly became a favorite of my whole unit. My current job requires long hours so when I saw it available here I couldn't get my hands on it quick enough. Fair warning though the "do not take more then" is no joke.

I have caffeine related products out of the ying-yang, and this seems to work the best for me. Okay, so the taste isn't too great, but a small price to pay. My biggest concern is keeping it away for our kids b/c our 5-year old loves gum, and I certainly don't want him getting into this!

"Stay Alert Caffeine Supplement Gum" was designed for use by the U.S. Army in situations where soldiers were fatigued but having a cup of coffee was out of the question. This reviewer uses it to restore alertness during long drives, long meetings, and sometimes early morning hikes. The gum is coated with a cinnamon flavor shell which has a strong taste. The gum itself is easy chewed for a few minutes for increased alertness. A second piece can be chewed if the first doesn't quite do the trick. A package with five pieces of gum fits easily into a pocket. The package warns against having more than one or two pieces at a time; it is not a substitute for real rest. Prolonged chewing can leave your mouth dried out. Exceeding the recommended dosage can leave your heart racing from caffeine overload. "Stay Alert Gum" is highly recommended as a substitute for a cup of coffee or soda in overcoming minor fatigue.

I use this product for my early morning workouts (mostly running), so I need an energy boost to get going. This gum provides the boost I need, and it helps me to have a more productive workout. The cinnamon flavor lasts an entire workout (usually an hour). There is a slight bitter caffeine taste, but that doesn't affect the overall flavor. It's a good product that I'll keep on buying.

The caffeine gum is a great solution for drowsiness on long drives. As previous reviewers have noted, it becomes a little bitter after the first 5 minutes, but I just take small bites off another piece of cinnamon gum to overcome this.

I recieved this package in a nice sealed envelope from the 'stay alert group' First with the taste. There are many people who can't handle the taste of this gum and spit it out right away. I don't find the taste too bad actually. The first minute of chewing the gum tastes just like any other cinnamin gum. After the first minute its bitter caffine heaven from there. Nothing too repulsive, but people with weak taste tolerance should avoid this flavor. Included in my package was a sample of their new flavor "arctic mint" which i enjoyed more than the cinnamin and would recommend it. Now i tried this gum while i was fully alert and active, and i didn't feel much different. A bit jittery, and lost my appetite. Other instances, i took the gum while i couldn't stay awake in class. Head bobbing and all. And within 5 minutes of chewing the gum, i felt the effects strongly. Light headed, didn't feel the need to sleep, jittery, and the slight need to run around. All in all, i recommend this gum. It may work for some people stronger than others but you'll never know until you try it. I found it mediocrely effective in keeping me alert and awake. I have yet to chew two peices at once.

The product is exactly as described. however, i wish i had read previous reviews, as the size of these gumballs are too big for standard gum ball machines.

The description is correct and the product is fine. However, I misread it as being a jumbo sized container. Instead, they are jumbo sized gum balls that won't fit in most gum ball machines.

I have a very boring job of taking call after call usually about the same thing as the last all day long. Mindless meetings that go on for hours. I contibute me still haing my job to these mints! I also bought the case of the smaller tins Mini Tin Size Penguin Caffeinated Peppermints: 12 count sleeve of .5 ounce tins And i keep those in the car for getting sleeping on the way home from work or for long drives. I tell everyone about these and even give out the small ones as trials to friends :)

Personally, I just about live on these. I generally have a couple in the morning before class, either of these or Warp Green Lemon Lime "mints", depending how much caffeine I think I need (the Warp ones are a little less caffeinated). A hint to the uninitiated: one of the nice things about mints, etc. is that is you can keep them under your tongue: "sublingual infusion" is the term for this (absorbing the caffeine through the blood vessels on the bottom of your tongue), and I find it not only works better, but comes on slower (not a sudden jolt to your system, e.g. less jitters), and lasts longer. Your mileage may vary :) Bottom line: get these mints. If you want to buy a smaller quantity, thinkgeek sells them individually.

These mints have 15mg of caffeine per mint and 75 mints per tin. You can easily get the right amount you need without having to gulp sour energy drinks. You are also very kissable after using them. The only thing that kinda sucks is when you are sucking on them and you get a bitter taste in your mouth because the caffeine wasn't processed well enough and you get bitter little bits in your mouth. However, if you chew them up, you aren't going to experience that. They are amount the smoothest mints you can buy.

Going from class to class every day makes it difficult to stay caffinated. Without these mints I would have fallen asleep in many a class. If I graduate, it will have been in large part because of the help I got from these mints. I have to chew about 6 or 7 during a really boring class when I had only 4 hours of sleep. But usually I can get through a class with only 3. They don't give me headaches or make me crash. They just keep my eyes open and sometimes make me type a little faster. Whenever the person sitting next to me starts zoning out, I usually slide the tin over and boy are they grateful.

These work! Need to pull an allnigter and don't like had enough coffee--these do it. Period.
